About HeyMontessori

Montessori is easy to read about and hard to start. HeyMontessori exists to close that gap: you answer four questions about your child and your week, and you get a short week you can actually run — what to put out, one change to make at home, and one thing to watch.

Every week is assembled from reviewed records: activities, materials, home changes and observation prompts. Nothing is generated from thin air, and nothing appears in a week until it has been reviewed and approved.

The week is deliberately short. One activity a day is a full week, and "nothing happened" is a normal outcome you can record at the end.

Most of what a child between two and six needs is already in your kitchen. Where a purchase genuinely helps we say so plainly, and where a household substitute works as well we say that instead.

We do not make claims about development we cannot support. Where a statement rests on Montessori's own written work, we cite it. Where the previous version of this site made a claim we could not support, that claim was removed rather than softened.

You can build and keep a week without creating an account. Your week lives in its link, and you can save that link to come back to it. We do not ask for an email address for something we cannot yet send.

Parents of children roughly two to six, at home, with limited time, ordinary houses and no training. Homeschooling families use the same week builder in a homeschool framing.

If something published here is wrong, we want to know and we will correct it. Every record carries the reviewer and the date it was reviewed, so a correction can be traced to the version it changed.
